Disclaimer: I don't own any of this, of course. The characters in this story have the names of real people, but they are only characters. Keep that in mind when reading this. It is all made up, so don't mix up reality with fiction.
I have no idea what Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are like in reality, and I don't know anything about their personal lives. No offense is intended in writing this story.
That being said, I hope you enjoy this story and can take it for what it is.
Please review, constructive criticism is welcome!
Oh, and on a different note, this story is rated R. If sexual references etc. upset you as a reader, then this is not the story for you!

Chapter 1
“Do I have to do this?” Kristen slid down further into her chair, resting her head on the back, staring resolutely at the ceiling, a childish pout on her lips.
Nikki snorted and nudged Kris with the toe of her pointed ‘Rosalie boots’. “Kris, you do know you’ve done this scene before right? You did it the first time you met the guy, there was no issue then!” She giggled quietly to herself, careful not to upset Kristen further by bringing up her initial reaction to her tall British co-star.
Kristen brought her head up with a snap and glared at her friend. “That was different. I didn’t know him then. I didn’t know Jessica the perfect, who is going to be there today just to add to my excitement! And I didn’t have a boyfriend.” Kristen caught the look Nikki was throwing at her and added quickly, “Who I love.” Nikki could say whatever she liked. She did love Michael. Really.
“OK sweetie. Then there should be no problem! I mean you have Michael,” she looked pointedly at her friend, “and he has Jess. You’re both happy with other people. Kissing a little should be no problem. You’re both professionals after all.” She held in her laughter as best she could, but a muffled giggle slipped out of the corner of her mouth.
“Nicole. Houston. Reed. If you are referring to the screen test you saw, which you stole from Catherine anyway, then I’m pretty sure I need to remind you of the promise you made swearing you would never mention it again.” Kristen hissed the words angrily but really she wasn’t that mad. It was pretty funny. She sat stoically for a moment or two, trying desperately to hold onto her mad facade, but it wasn’t long until she was bursting at the seams with suppressed laughter. She hooted loudly once and in seconds the two of them were holding onto each other trying to stay upright in their chairs.
“The way you put your hands in his back pockets to pull him closer! I bet Catherine didn’t see that coming!” Nikki managed to get out between desperate fits of laughter. “Wait wait! Remind me what you did again when he started kissing your neck!” To Nikki’s delight, Kris played along, rolling her eyes back in her head, opening her mouth in pretend ecstasy and moaning loudly, “Oh my goddd!”
There was a snicker from the doorway and both girls looked up instantly to assess the intruder. Rob leant thingyily on the doorframe, running a hand through his unruly hair. “Oh please, don’t stop on my account.” He looked half serious as he ran his eyes over the situation in front of him, as both girls blushed furiously. He had walked in on the two of them wrapped in each other’s arms, while Kristen was moaning like a woman possessed. Nikki noticed with a wry smile that he looked exhausted. She was pretty sure she could guess why he didn’t get any sleep... If she had been Jessica and knowing her gorgeous boyfriend would be making out with his gorgeous co-star all day, she would have f**ked him until the sun came up.
Nikki recovered quickly and threw a leg over Kristen’s leg, giving Rob a pointed look while whispering seductively, “Care to join us?” Rob and Nikki both thought this was hysterical, but Kristen’s eyes widened and she shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She felt as though everyone working on this film was so comfortable with talking and joking about sex, and while she was not a virgin by any definition, she always felt painfully awkward with their constant sexual references. Still squirming, she tried to escape the iron grip of her friend, with little to no success until Rob’s PA thankfully arrived, distracting Nikki long enough to pull free of her hold. She grinned in victory and went to strut out the door when she felt a soft hand on her shoulder.
“Oh my f**king God!” Kristen shrieked, whirling around. “Stop with the sexual assault attempts Nikki!” She was mortified to find Michelle, one of the assistants, and easily one of the nicest people you could ever expect to meet, standing timidly in front of her, instead of the suspected Nikki who was watching from a nearby chair, giggling madly into her hands with a laughing Rob right next to her. They both looked so smug. Kristen wanted to hit them. “Oh, Michelle! I’m so sorry, I thought you were Nikki or Rob and...” She trailed off as Michelle waved a dismissive hand in front of her, signalling it was no big deal.
“It’s no problem Sweetheart; I know these two give you a hard time.” She smiled warmly at Kristen before quickly telling her she was needed on set, as was Nikki. Michelle was in her late 30’s, seen by the whole cast as a mother figure, and probably had enough gossip on each of them to ruin their careers. She would never do anything with that information though, she saw them as her children the same way they saw her as their mom.
Kristen shuffled out the door still with a slight blush and scowl on her face as Nikki gleefully followed her down the path to the set. Michelle looked back around to see Rob sitting in the chair Nikki had recently vacated, quietly studying his script. She knew he tried hard to look like he was totally confident in his acting ability and knowledge that he deserved the role, but he worked harder than anyone else and would go days without sleeping so he would have more time to rehearse his lines.
“How are you holding up, honey?” She gently touched his hand and perched on the chair adjacent to his. He looked up with bleary eyes and ran a frustrated hand through his unruly hair.
“I know Kris is uncomfortable about the scenes we’re shooting today, and I know it’s because of Jess.” He puffed out his cheeks before letting out the air in a huff of exasperation. He was exhausted. Michelle nodded understandingly, but didn’t quite meet his eyes.
“I can kind of see why though.” She murmured apologetically. “Jess did kind of pitch a fit last time she was on set.” Jess had come in to watch them film one of the school scenes, and after watching Kristen’s and Rob’s interaction between takes she was convinced they were fooling around. She’d cried all that night, and he’d been kind of avoiding Kris ever since. He’d thought Jess might be more comfortable if she could watch them film today so he could prove that there was nothing between him and Kristen, but he’d unintentionally overlooked how that may have made Kristen feel. He groaned loudly and rested his heavy head in his hands.
“I can’t make everyone happy though!” He spoke loudly and clearly startled Michelle. “I thought if she saw us interact now she would see it’s just joking around!” Michelle looked thoughtful for a moment, as though she was choosing her words carefully.
“You have to be careful sometimes though. Sometimes, to an outsider’s perspective, it can seem like... flirting.” She hesitated on the last word, again as though she was afraid of his reaction. “Jess might just be a little insecure. We both know you can have any woman you want.”
He grinned and winked at her. “Can I have you?”
She looked disgusted, but there was a playful look in her eye.
“That’s sick. I’m like you’re mom.”
He laughed and nodded slightly. He thought back to the point of this conversation and scoffed, sitting a little straighter in his chair. “She’s just a kid.” He said condescendingly, shaking his head. “It’s just little Kris!”
Michelle suddenly looked stern, and he shifted slightly under her intense glare. Sometimes she was too much like a mother. “That might be true, but you’re not much older than she is, although we all know you like to act like you’re much older and more mature than you are.” She smiled impishly at this to show him she was kidding, at least a little. “You don’t treat her like a child when you’re together. Be careful there, Rob.” With those final cryptic words she stood and moved swiftly out the door. ‘I don’t treat her like a child’ he thought to himself. What the f**k was that supposed to mean?!
